Wizards in Training

The Wizard’s in Training theme party is sure to be a magical experience for the birthday child and guests. The theme incorporates elements from the popular fictional character, Harry Potter, as well as the general magic theme and generally appeals to children aged 6 and up. The entire party from beginning to end is structured as Magic School training for witches and wizards. Guests will be invited to graduate from the school by attending magic classes, performing simple magic and having fun.

• Two Magic School Professors will lead the children through the magic school training, which includes magic activities and games.
• Guests arrive and are given their black magic cape, wand and party hat.
• Guests will attend their first class – Potions. They will create a magic potion using various household items to create an edible potion with magical properties. All supplies are included.
• Guests will attend their second class – Magic Tricks. They will each be taught how to do a simple magic trick and will perform it during a Magic Show for the other guests. All supplies are included.
• The next activity is to search for the Sorcerer’s Stone. The guests will be divided into teams and will search for clues that will lead them to the stone. Clues will be written in secret codes that need to be deciphered. All game supplies and prizes are included.
• The children will participate in a few party games such as a Quidditch Relay Race and Who Am I contest.
• The final class will be a Tasting Challenge. The guests will taste different wacky magic bean (jellybean) flavours and guess what they are. All supplies are included.
• At the end of the party, the graduation ceremonies will take place and all children will receive a certificate of completion.
• The Professors will lead the group in singing Happy Birthday and will present the birthday child with a special birthday gift.
