Alpha’s Discovery Kids Preschool and Daycare has created an exceptional program to develop the whole child through an emergent, inquiry-based curriculum to provide each child with the best start for academic success. As a parent, you’ll take comfort in knowing that you’ll receive daily verbal and digital updates from the teacher in addition to a progress report for your child twice per year to let you know how your child is progressing and meeting key milestones.

At Alpha’s Discovery Kids Preschool and Daycare, your child’s safety is of prime importance. We have several safety features in place so that you can rest assured that our child is being cared for and nurtured in a safe and secure environment. Our front door is only accessible to staff and parents with a security code. Our outdoor playground is secured with a fence on all sides. We also have an alarm system and security cameras in place to monitor all individuals in the building including staff, parents, volunteers, students and guests. In addition to these safety features, we strictly follow all guidelines according to Ministry of Education and local Health regulations. We maintain a clean environment by following sanitary practices and cleaning toys daily and each classroom is completely sanitized on a weekly basis.

A great teacher makes all the difference! Our customers will tell you that we have the best teachers who genuinely care about the children! All of our teachers are qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECE) registered with the College of ECEs or Early Childhood Assistants (ECA). They provide your child with loving care, a stimulating learning environment and consistent guidance to supplement and enhance learning. Our ECE/ECA trained and qualified staff are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and caring environment for your children. We make it our mission to help each child so they can reach their full potential.

Our daycare and preschool fees are competitive and we offer a great value. Our programs include extracurricular activities such as Yoga, Zumba and Kindermusik programs as part of the regular day at no extra cost to you. Alpha’s offers both full-time and part-time programs to meet the needs of busy parents. Our flexible part-time programs are designed to meet the needs of your family. Our Nursery School program is great for the stay-at-home parent who wants an enrichment program for their child to learn new skills and socialize with their peers. Our half-day program is great for parents with non-traditional schedules who want to choose the hours that the child attends. The full day program is great for working parents who need child care for the entire day. Regardless of which program you choose, all children receive the same learning experiences. Our vacation scheduling also allows for flexibility to take a vacation and pay reduced child care fees. We are open for the entire year but you may choose to take the summer off and return in September while we hold a spot for you. These flexible options allow you to choose the child care arrangement that works best for you and your family.
